Abstract

This research aims to analyze the behavior of Digital Social Networks (DSN), built from the relationships, interactions, expressions of private states, and behaviors of the participants in the network. The collective subjectivity analysis was defined as the automatic analysis of the common denominators of the ways of thinking, feeling, and acting of the members of a social collective, which are expressed linguistically in the shared corpus and structurally in their interactions. For this purpose, an onion-ring system called COSSOL was built in the framework of a case study for the social network Twitter, which follows a hybrid approach to integrate Machine Learning classifiers from the Computational Linguistics and Computational Sociology constructs.
