El impacto de la migración interna calificada en el desarrollo de las entidades federativas de México, 2010

Abstract

This doctoral research shows the importance of qualified migration in the development of the states of Mexico for the years 2000 and 2010. Estimates were made with a data base built from official sources such as the General Population and Housing Census, the Economic Information Bank, the Socioeconomic Conditions Module of the National Income Survey, Household Expenditures, Human Development Index data, and national INEGI statistics. The main results allow us to conclude that the number of qualified people has a positive impact on the development of the state entities, while the emigration rate have a negative influence on the development index. These results allow us to conclude that the individuals level of qualification has a positive relationship with the development of the states in Mexico 2010.
