Abstract:The paper presents data collected by the ongoing Glossary of the Romancero general of 1600, focusing on the Baroque Romancero nuevo, written by a known or identifiable author. Thus, the Glossary contains the first 450 texts drawn from a total 803 texts and has been composed by a team of 11 graduates from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, coordinated by Patrizia Botta.
