El mercado laboral en Colombia y su impacto en las migraciones. El caso de las víctimas en Soacha

Abstract

The municipality of Soacha is home to approximately 55,000 people displaced by violence, according to data from the last Dane’s census, Soacha is also one of the municipalities with the highest reception of displaced people and resources to assist them. Although, at the level of Cundinamarca, it is of the ones with the highest added value, it is also with the worst indicators on human development. The labor market is considered strategic for the inclusion of the affected population in society, as well as the solution to the problem of income generation, but likewise, the population faces a series of institutional and other obstacles, which does not allow them to be absorbed by the formal economy as expected. In this chapter, qualitative |quantitative methodologies are found in the framework of decent work policies, to diagnose the realities of this population.
