Samarium iron oxide (SmFeO 3 ) possesses remarkable magnetic characteristics, favorable p‐type semiconducting property, and outstanding gas‐sensitivity 5,6 . SmFeO 3 has distorted orthorhombic structure with space group Pnma(62) and FeO 6 octahedron tilted toward Sm 3+ cation to sustain the Sm‐O bonding 5,13 .…”
