Abstract: per vehicle mile travelled is appreciably higher on the motorway than on other types of road. . ." seems to fulfil the prophecy of Fitzwater Wray, in " The Kuklos Papers " (1927), when the agitation for cyclists' rear lights was in full spate and cyclists were called the " greatest menace on the roads," to the effect that the removal from the roads of all users but motorists would simply mean that the latter would run into each other at higher speeds.-I am, etc., Liskeard, Cornwall.
