Electrical properties of thex Na2O · (1–x) (0.6 V2O5 · 0.4 P2O5) glasses for 0.1 ≦x ≦ 0.5

Abstract: Electrical Properties of the x Na20 (1x) (0.6 V 2 0 , 0.4 P,O,) Glasses for 0.1 5 x 5 0.5 B Y 1. MOMOT, J. E. GARBARCZYK~), M. WASIUCIONEK, and W. JAKUBOWSKI The glasses of composition x Na,O .(1 -x) (0.6 V,O, '0.4 P,O,) for 0 < x 5 0.5 are prepared and their electrical properties are investigated by means of impedance spectroscopy. In the studied range of x the total electrical conductivity has almost entirely electronic character. Electron transport occurs via electron hopping between V4+ and V5+ centers. Th… Show more

“…The increase of the activation energies with the increasing lithium phosphate content may be caused by an increase of the average distance between pairs of V 5þ to V 4þ by the increase of Li 3 PO 4 content ionization of Li atoms, and electron trapping by V 5þ centers [12].…”
