Abstract:We report single crystal growth of the ternary non-centrosymmetric compound URhSn and effect of hydrostatic pressure on its binary transitions occurring at 54 K (T O) and 17 K (T C), respectively. The ground state of URhSn is ferromagnetic, while nature of the phase transition at 54 K is not yet wellestablished. We find that the T O is monotonically suppressed to 37 K at 5.91 GPa, and the anomaly at T C changes to 21.7 K at 3.62 GPa and then to 18 K at 5.91 GPa. Both the transitions show a declining trend with… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations鈥揷itations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
