“…EDS surface scanning indicates that the introduction of SiO 2 nanoparticles will make the element distribution of the coating more uniform. Comparing with previous studies [28,29], when the addition amount of SiO 2 nanoparticles is 9 g l −1 , the analysis of elemental content reveals that the content of P element reaches 10.22 wt%, which belongs to high phosphorus coating, and has increased compared to Ni-P and Ni-W-P coatings.
