Electro-optically tunable cascaded second-order nonlinearity induced (2 + 1)D spatial optical soliton using bulk β-barium borate crystal: a theoretical approach

Abstract: This paper deals with the development of an effective theoretical approach to generate spatial optical soliton in exceptionally beneficial bulk beta-barium-borate crystal by utilizing cascaded second-order nonlinearity through electro-optic tuning. The proposed methodology paves the way for novel nonlinear optical interactions conceptualized in bulk material depending upon an effective nonlinear refractive index for a broad range of crystal lengths.
