Abstract:Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (ENRR) under ambient conditions is anticipated as a viable green substitute to the commercial Haber−Bosch process. However, the ENRR is severely limited by the slow production rate of ammonia, which is highly dependent on the electrocatalysts used.
