Abstract:In this paper we study the effect of Niad-atoms on the activity of a Pd/Pyy nanocomposite anode, we find that the catalytic activity of an anode towards methanol oxidation increased by threefold in the presence of Niad-atoms.
“…4b) of the dendrites taken before and after methanol oxidation that the band at 614 cm −1 related to Pd-OH is high for used dendrites. The -OH group felicitates the oxidation of CO, which is believed to be the rate determining step, formed as an intermediate in methanol electro-oxidation, 51 which in turn significantly improves the catalytic activity.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
