Electrochemical Controllable Synthesis of Bismuth Hexacyanoferrate(II) Nanoplates and Its Application in Electrocatalysis

Abstract: A facile electrochemical approach was developed for the controllable synthesis of bismuth hexacyanoferrate(II) (BiHCF(II)) nanoplates. The composition, morphology, and structure of the as-prepared BiHCF(II) nanoplates were characterized by the techniques such as infrared spectrum, thermogravimetry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectrum, powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and selecte… Show more

“…The electrochemical response increased with increasing amount of CNTs, while too much amount of CNTs will decrease the stability of the sensing surface. 10 L Ionic strength and ion types were not taken into account, the solution of 0.1 M NaH 2 PO 4 is acidic which is quite agreeable with the general opinion that the redox activities of MHCFs prefer in acid media [45].…”

“…(3) BiHCF could be electrodeposited at the surface of GN/CFs in 30 mL of mixture solution including 1 mM of Bi(NO 3 ) 3 , 1 mM of K 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ], 0.01 M of HNO 3 and 0.1 M of KNO 3 , using cycle voltammetric (CV) at a potential range of 0-1 V, scan rate of 50 mVs −1 for 20 cycles (BiHCF/GN/CFs). The scheme could be seen in reaction ( 5) and ( 6) (Zheng et al 2007;Feng et al 2008).…”
