Abstract: Abstract. Metoprolol (MTP) is one of pharmaceuticals used for treatment of heart failure and hypertension. It was frequently detected in wastewater samples either influent or effluent. The application of graphite-PVC composite as anode was investigated for the degradation of metoprolol in the presence of strong electrolyte such as sodium chloride (NaCl).
