Electrochemical Sensing of Dissolved Oxygen at Ternary Graphene Composite Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

Abstract: Novel sensor for dissolved oxygen (DO) centered on ternary composite of graphene/titanium dioxide/silver nanoparticle (G-TiO2-Ag) enhanced glassy carbon electrodes can be investigated. This modified composite was created using a hydrothermal process and then placed on the surface of the glassy carbon (GC) electrode as an active material. The electrochemical behavior of the GC/G-TiO2 modified electrode in 0.1 M PBS displayed two steps four electrons (4e`) mechanism for DO reduction, while, the electrochemical b… Show more

“…Living cells had utilized the DO from their milieu for biochemical activities; the variations in oxygen content might alter species growth and differentiation. 1 On the other hand, the DO concentration can reflect the self-regulating state of the environment. The high DO content, which promotes the destruction of various pollutants in water, means the water can be cleansed swiftly.…”

“…Free and noncompound oxygen in water is referred as dissolved oxygen (DO) which corresponds to a variety of biochemical and physiological information. Living cells had utilized the DO from their milieu for biochemical activities; the variations in oxygen content might alter species growth and differentiation . On the other hand, the DO concentration can reflect the self-regulating state of the environment.…”
