Electrochemical synthesize and characterization of ZnO / ZnS nanostructures for hydrogen production

Abstract: In present study, zinc oxide/zinc sulfide (ZnO/ZnS) nanostructures were fabricated by anodization of Zn. The morphological, structural and compositional properties of ZnO/ZnS were studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). From FESEM results, welldefined and smooth spherical-like ZnO/ZnS nanostructures were obtained with tube-like ZnO nanostructures underneath the compact layer. XRD patterns revealed that achieved materials offer high crystallinity hexagonal ZnO… Show more

“…EIS results of all 3D electrodes show that; as the applied overpotentials increased, the resistance values decreased. This is attributed to that the electron transfer throughout the procedure of H + reduction accelerated 14 . The obtained electrochemical parameters from the fitting of EIS outcomes were listed in Table 4.…”

“…This is attributed to that the electron transfer throughout the procedure of H + reduction accelerated. 14 The obtained electrochemical parameters from the fitting of EIS outcomes were listed in Table 4. As seen in Table 4, R ct and R ad 's values decrease as the GRP ratio increases in ) GRP/PLA 3D electrodes and as the CNF ratio increases in CNF/PLA 3D electrodes.…”
