Electrochemically‐Assisted in situ Generation of Hydrazonoyl Halides for the Synthesis of 3H‐1,2,4‐Triazol‐3‐ones

Abstract: The electrochemical C(sp2)‐H abstraction of hydrazones to produce 1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐ones as an appealing pathway has considerable value. By the patronage of electricity current, instead of unconventional methods, we reveal an electrochemical detour for furnishing 1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐ones by electrochemical activation of hydrazones for further reaction with potassium isocyanate.
