Abstract: This work aimed to develop an enzyme-free semiconductor-assisted electrochemical technique for the selective detection of the neurotransmitter dopamine. In this case, electrochemically grown nickel oxyhydroxide [NiO(OH)] thin films were chosen to fabricate the sensing platform, i.e., the electrodes.
