Abstract:Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) has been a useful analytical tool for fields such as molecular biology, food analysis, and analytical chemistry. In situ generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by surface mediated catalysis works collaboratively with the luminol based ECL system. This work describes an ECL strategy involving in situ ROS generation from the surface of gold nanoparticles (AuNP). We reported on a novel condition to induce AuNP catalysis, and examined the application of this phenomenon to an imm… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
