Electroencephalography in Delirium Assessment. A Scoping Review

Abstract: BackgroundDelirium is a common disorder affecting up to 82% of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Delirium assessment scores such as the Confusion Assessment Method (CAM) are time-consuming, they cannot differentiate between different types of delirium and their etiologies, and they may have low sensitivities in the clinical setting.
