Abstract:The influence of citrate and glycine at different concentrations on the morphology and magnetic properties of thin film CoB alloys is studied. With both additives, coercivity (Hc) is inversely proportional to the complexant concentration. In deposits obtained from glycine containing baths higher magnetization saturation (Ms) values were obtained (1.3 T). Possibly the higher Ms in deposits grown from glycine baths is due to the low boron content (less than 1%). In deposits obtained in citrate containing… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
