Electromagnetic Characteristics and Capacity Analysis of a Radial–Axial Hybrid Magnetic Bearing with Two Different Radial Stators

Abstract: Compared with the widely used four-pole magnetic bearings, three-pole magnetic bearings are driven by a three-phase power inverter and have advantages pertaining to their small volume, low costs, and low power losses.
