Electromagnetic separation of impurities in a conductive medium

Abstract: A numerical study of the flow of an electrically conductive fluid is carried out in a cell under the action of a constant magnetic field. Distribution of electromotive force is investigated as well as the topology of electric current in the cell. The evolutions of velocity field are studied for different parameters.
