“…(ii) Decreased polar functional groups ratio: as Fig. 5e shows, the –Si–OH (polar functional group) of POSS could react with the –Si–OH group of PVTMS, and there are a large number of non-polar ethyl functional groups on the added POSS nanofiller surface; therefore, the ratio of polar functional groups decreases, hence leading to decreased dielectric properties, enhanced input impedance match of the material ( Z in / Z 0 close to 1) and enhanced EMW transmission properties according to the following equation: 55–57 where Z 0 (Ω) refers to the impedance of free space (normally 377 Ω). μ r and ε r refer to the complex permeability and permittivity of the material, respectively.…”

“…The Raman spectra of HCPC-700, HCPC-800 and HCPC-900 carbon materials are illustrated in Figure 2 a. It is observed that the spectra of all the carbon materials show two strong peaks, one at 1358 cm −1 , indicating the D band, due to the A 1g vibration by the existence of defects; and the other at 1586 cm −1 , indicating the G band, due to the E 2g vibration of the sp 2 -bonded carbon [ 27 , 28 , 29 , 30 ]. The intensity of the D band is high in all the samples, i.e., HCPC-700, HCPC-800 and HCPC-900, indicating the presence of numerous defects, such as nitrogen and oxygen atoms.…”

“…The obtained plate sample was then processed in a high-pressure autoclave connected with an ISCO high-pressure control pump (260D, USA) via scCO 2 foaming. [52][53][54][55] The hierarchical nanoscale skeleton was then obtained by foaming at 177 °C and 15 MPa, saturated for 3 h followed by a rapid depressurization. 56…”
