“…As it has been emphasized in [3], the model of white noise for the field is interesting by itself because it describes the electric field amplitude of the multimode laser operating without correlation between the modes. This white noise model has been also used in our other paper [15], where in a Λ-like configuration of electromagnetically induced transparency, the laser control field has the white noise component. Then the considered model is more realistic experimentally, because the amplitudes of the real laser light always contain some fluctuation component.…”

“…γ has the form By assuming the same values for the parameters describing the atomic system and its interaction with external fields, we easily compare our results with those in [11,[13][14][15][16]. Thus, we have assumed that the total autoionization rate ).…”

“…It has been shown that the presence of the second AI level leads to the additional EIT window appearance. In this paper we use the same method applied in [15,16] to consider the model that studied in [14] by modeling of fluctuating control field as a white noise. Then the set of coupled stochastic integrodifferential equations involved in the problem can be also solved exactly.…”

“…Hence, it is worthwhile to start with an extreme case of white noise. Even in this case we can obtain several interesting results [7][8][9]. Here we extend the formalism given in [10] to a more realistic case, when the laser width is taken into account and discuss a simple quantum information application of Kerr nonlinearities, namely for generation of entangled optical qubits from classical light.…”
