Electron Beam Initiated Cross–linking in Hybrid Nylon 66 Membranes

Abstract: Electron beam (EB) irradiation at dose of 80 kGy in air has been used as a cross–linking initiator in hybrid nylon 66 membranes to improve the properties and performance of the membrane for separation processes. The cross–linking was characterized by gel content, swelling, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and thermal stability.
