Abstract: Abstract: This paper presents the design and real-time implementation of an electronic differential speed control system (EDSC) for a neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) with a decentralized power train configuration. The EDSC supervises the desired speed variation of the drive motors of the vehicle at various turning trajectories. The core focus of this design is to reduce the system complexity, computation delay and design expenses with an aid of a newly proposed drive current balancing algorithm (DCBA). T… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
