Electronic States of LaAuSb₂ Studied by Soft X-Ray ARPES

Abstract

Electronic band structure of LaAuSb 2 , which shows charge density wave (CDW) transition, is studied above the CDW transition temperature by means of soft X-ray angle resolved photoemission and the result was compared with the band structure calculation. Inner potential was estimated as 25 eV based on the photon energy dependence of the ARPES result. Resonance enhancement of La 4f component in the occupied bands has been found the La 3d → 4f photoabsorption edge. Experimentally found dispersions at least partially agreed with the band structure calculation.
