“…The results indicate that the investigated formulation based on the combination of hydrophilic polymers P188 and PEO has a different capacity for the incorporation of different types and sizes of nanoparticles. The size of the SPIONs in the present study was (53.5 ± 6.5) nm, which is much smaller compared to the silica-coated SPION clusters (200-350 nm), for which efficient incorporation was reported previously [31].
