scale structures were easily damaged by mechanical impact or deformation, resulting in functional failure. [18][19][20][21][22] To address this fatal drawback, most of the attention was focused on the surface abrasion resistance from rigid friction. [23][24][25][26][27][28] For instance, repair ability and self-healing were exploited to overcome the abrasion damage, suitable organic, or inorganic adhesive were introduced to maintain surface structural integrity or to design the texture of damaged surface similar to the undamaged layer. Therefore, from universal application perspective, it is extremely important to develop suitable adhesive for accommodating various substrates at the specific application environment.Since the strategy that the doublesided adhesive can be used as primer to enhance the wear resistance of topcoat been proposed, [29] many resins have been proved to effectively improve the adhesion of coating. For example, adhesive, such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), [6,30] epoxy resin (EP), [31] polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), [3,32] polyurethane (PU), [33,34] or polybutadiene (PB), [35] has been demonstrated as one of several promising strategies to enhance its mechanical durability. However, there are still issues about its service life. For example, poor oleophobicity will cause surface contamination and malfunctions when dealing with oil, and surface antifreeze behavior will be directly affected from the synergetic relationship between surface roughness and surface energy. [5,22,32,36,37] Furthermore, despite the development of robust coating as mentioned above, the synergy of adhesives, application integration of composite coating, and its evaluation mechanism at the specific application environment, such as hard flat surface for anti-icing, hard, or soft fiberboard for filter or separation, were rarely reported. Our research group has put forward the idea of fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) composite resin as adhesive. [38] This kind of composite resin is separated in the coating to build a rough structure of primer, which is used to protect the topcoat. However, a tight cross-linked network structure could not be effectively constructed in the composite resin primer, which makes both the hardness and flexibility insufficient for high wear-resistant occasions. The ideal superhydrophobic primer coating should have: i) enough roughness; ii) good adhesion to both the substrate and topcoat; It is an important tendency to develop a durable superwetting coating for potential applications. However, its application, integration and evaluation mechanism in specific application environments are still inadequate toward practical applications. Herein, a universal approach to fabricate ultra-stable and multifunctional superhydrophobic composite coating with superoleophobicity or superoleophilicity using cross-linked composite resin as reinforcement is reported. The nano-porous structure with extremely low surface energy is endowed with excellent mechanical stability, to gre...
