Show more

“…Approach curves provide detailed kinetic measurements at one location whereas imaging provides am appingo fr eaction rates of the sample. [16,17] As there is also ad istanced ependence,w ef ollowed the development of imageso fi dentical regions over several subsequently recorded image frames. Althought he features in an individual image cannot be unambiguously assigned to either topographico rr eactivity effects, the changes between subsequent images of identical sample regionsm ust be due to changes of local SEI properties.T he choice of the mediator is critical, and this aspect will be discussed in another contribution to this Special Issue.…”

“…Scanning electrochemicalmicroscopy (SECM) [95] is ascanning probe technique in which the current resulting from an electrolysis at am icrodisc electrode (ME) is used to construct the signal. There are severale stablished working modes, from which the most importanti nt his context are the feedback mode (FB) and the sample-generation/tip-collection mode (SG/TC,S ection 5).…”

“…Some examples, however not exhaustive, can be found in recent reviews. [1][2][3][4][5] In this present Minireview, the objectives are to describe a second level of quantitative SECM data treatments for further quantitative interpretation as, for example, kinetics characterization.…”
