Abstract: Elektrokoagülasyon koloitlerin atıksulardan giderilmesinde kullanılan önemli arıtma yöntemlerinden biridir. Boyarmaddeler atıksulardaki önemli koloit kaynaklarının başında gelirler. Tekstil endüstrisinde oldukça fazla kullanılan boyarmaddeler, endüstrinin kullandığı su miktarının fazlalığı da göz önüne alındığında alıcı su ortamları için önemli kolloidal kirleticiler haline gelirler.
