Abstract:Photoelectrochemical water splitting is regarded as a promising strategy for solar energy conversion, but the efficacy of metal oxide photoelectrodes is significantly limited by suboptimal charge transport. In this regard, epitaxial BiVO 4 thin films provide a suitable research platform, enabling a deeper understanding of carrier dynamics and energy relaxation pathways. In this work, epitaxial BiVO 4 thin films were synthesized through a solutionbased method combined with a rapid thermal annealing system. A sy… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
