Abstract:The gastric stability of eight barbiturates (BARs) (barbital, primidone, allobarbital, phenobarbital, cyclobarbital, pentobarbital, secobarbital, and thiobutabarbital (TBB)) was examined in artificial gastric juice using LC/UV detection. Among the eight BARs, only TBB was degraded at higher temperatures.
