Abstract:Platinum group metal (PGM)-free oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) continue to demonstrate significant advances in electrocatalytic activity. However, the initial cell high performances cannot be retained over an extended period. We show that fuel cell performance can be electrochemically recovered in-situ, without having to disassemble or disconnect the fuel cell. This was achieved through a set of experiments that included cyclic voltammetry with variat… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
