Abstract:The cleavage of the C−N bonds of aromatic heterocycles, such as pyridines or quinolines, is a crucial step in the hydrodenitrogenation (HDN) industrial processes of fuels in order to minimize the emission of nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere.
