Abstract: The nutritional and medicinal wealth found in wild Solanum species is abundant, yet frequently goes unnoticed. Solanum sisymbriifolium Lam. and S. virginianum L. are two spiny species found worldwide in the Solanum genus, offering various medicinal and nutritional benefits.
