EMBED: Essential Microbiome Dynamics, a dimensionality reduction approach for longitudinal microbiome studies

Abstract: Dimensionality reduction can offer unique insights into high dimensional microbiome dynamics by leveraging collective abundance fluctuations of multiple bacteria driven by similar ecological perturbations.
