Through smart home controller user can monitor and control the electrical device locally or remotedly. In this paper we introduced the implementation of smart home controller. The system consists of three subsystems: embedded controller, zigbee protocal converter and terminal device. To enable the user manage the controller anywhere and anytime on different terminal, the B/S architecture is selected. As the system consists of many different sensors and actuators, the controller should parse different protocols therefore the zigbee convertor is introduced. Through zigbee router device,the smarthome system can be more robust and reliable.
