Abstract:Most cases of pulmonary arteriovenous malformations occur in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. It is a rare disease that may present with strokelike symptoms in young patients. With the development of occlusion devices, percutaneous embolization has become the treatment of choice.
