Abstract:Birds have a very different pineal gland structure morphologically and cytologically. The structure of the organ shows significant changes during the incubation periods. This study, which follows the embryological development of the pineal gland and makes histomorphometric measurements of the cellular elements that make up the gland parenchyma, is a current reference for studies in these areas.
