Abstract:A common fungal infection of the feet known as tinea pedis, which is also known as athlete's foot, significantly lowers quality of life. Its occurrence is caused by dermatophytes, a form of fungus that grows on the dead skin of the feet. Itching, scaling, redness, and skin breaking are among the symptoms that can be brought on by tinea pedis. In extreme circumstances, it may also result in nail infections and painful blisters.
