“…There are few studies on anaphylaxis management in pre hospital settings. In the USA, the number of 911 calls for anaphylaxis is 0.4-0.9% of all calls (Maio et al, 1999). Chung et al (2014) showed that in an urban Canadian centre from 481 identified allergy-related case records managed in the pre hospital setting, 136 (28%) met guideline criteria for anaphylaxis and 56% were considered high acuity level by the dispatch centre.…”
