Abstract:(Un)anticipated difficult airway remains a challenge in anaesthesia. Percutaneous transtracheal jet ventilation has been shown to be an adequate technique for temporary oxygenation and ventilation and has been described as an acknowledged method in emergency settings of an unanticipated difficult airway.
