“…Adsorption is the most used wastewater remediation tool for treating the effluents seen in wastewater. [80][81][82] The adsorption is highly preferred due to its easiness in operation, selectivity, cost-efficiency, and flexibility. 83 However, adsorption poses several problems connected to the appropriate disposal and regeneration of CS/MOFs.…”

“…The excessive consumption of antibiotics and their disposal has contributed significantly to water pollution and evolved as a critical environmental concern for human health and social progress. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are considered the most efficient remediation strategies for wastewater remediation containing organic pollutants due to their ability to produce highly reactive oxygen species. Compared to oxidants like H 2 O 2 , persulfate, and peroxymonosulfate, sodium percarbonate (Na 2 CO 3 ·1.5 H 2 O 2 ), also called solid hydrogen peroxide, is an advanced oxidant for wastewater remediation. Sodium percarbonate is a safe green peroxide with greater resistance to explosion, higher stability, and safety . The advantages of percarbonate over H 2 O 2 include greater water solubility and phenomenal thermal stability .…”
