Abstract: Emilia sonchifolia (L.) DC, it belongs to the family Asteraceae or Compositae, is conventionally used in ethnomedicine, and acquires various medicinal properties. This plant has been regarded as one of the widespread traditional vegetable salads in Malaysia, Bangladesh, and India.
