Emotions and foreign direct investment: A theoretical and empirical exploration

Abstract: ■ Emotions are largely absent in economic models. Possibly for this reason, many theories fail to explain the actual decisions made by managers.■ Therefore, we integrate emotions with regular microeconomic theory.
