Abstract:Sodium/glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are a novel class of anti-diabetic medications which have proved capable of providing breakthrough cardiovascular benefits in a variety of clinical scenarios, including patients with heart failure or obesity, irrespective of diabetic status.
