Abstract: Empagliflozin, a selective sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, induces osmotic diuresis via glucosuria and may represent a novel therapeutic approach for managing syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).
