“…Following several publications about the inception and operational problems of the YG in Spain (see Cabasés et al, 2016;Cabasés et al, 2018;Strecker & Cabasés, 2019;Úbeda et al, 2020a and2020b), this paper attempts to analyse how the YG has not achieved the expected results, as stated in the reports by the European Commission (EC), European Court of Auditors (ECA) and the Spanish Government, based on data from the public Spanish administration (Social Security, National Institute for Statistics and the Tax Agency).
